Driving Tests/Starting to learn:
Knaresborough or Northallerton Test area? Neither one is an easy option. The pass rates are about the same for both. Nationally the first time pass rate is dropping due to people going for test before they are completely ready and attending not trained to the modern DVSA standard. Please bear in mind the modern driving test is more carefully assessed and the roads are much more crowded and dangerous than they used to be. Some people may have passed their test after 15-20 hours back in the 1970’s or 80’s but those days have gone. We always use Knaresborough test centre. Your instructor will assess when you are ready for your test. This may mean delaying a test booked if a student has not reached the required standard by the time of the test.
